Facilities Preventive Maintenance Technician (Engineer II – experienced level) is a Full‑Time Regular position.Essential FunctionsPerform scheduled preventative maintenance in guestrooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces.Tasks include: flip/inspect mattresses, box springs, and assemble bed frames; vacuum behind and underneath furniture; spot clean carpets and upholstery; dust; touch‑up painting; touch‑up furniture and woodwork; ensure that all hardware and appliances are present and in working order; replace light fixtures; inspect and repair grout and caulking.Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms and public spaces in accordance with the resort's preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, securing bathroom accessories, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.Perform general cleaning of all surfaces: tub, wall tile, hard floors, walls, windows, mirrors, countertops, cabinetry, and furniture.Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to manager or supervisor.Additional Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet every guest, member, and team member with "I Am Proud" standards and set a positive tone for every interaction.Provide extraordinary service that is "Enriching by Nature."Embrace, embody, demonstrate, and encourage wellness and the STRATA virtues through interactions, performance, and commitments.Uphold the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's brand, culture, vision, mission, and values.Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and complete safety training and certifications.Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.Marginal FunctionsPerform other duties as assigned.Display care in the use of equipment and maintain an organized and professional work environment.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support the team to reach common goals.Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.Perform other reasonable job duties as requested or assigned.Position RequirementsMinimum knowledge & skills: 1 year of experience in any field; ability to operate computer and related equipment; flexible schedule with availability for morning, afternoon, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays; fluent in English.Formal education: high school diploma and a minimum of one year of job‑related experience.License, registration, or certification required: valid driver's license (company position).Additional licenses: None required beyond a valid driver's license.The Garden of the Gods Resort and Club offers a diverse, dynamic, and thriving environment that supports career development for all our team members.#J-18808-Ljbffr
