Position OverviewPosition Title: Support Services Associate (Facilities Store Stock Coordinator)Location: Main UNCW CampusFTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week)Work Days: Monday – FridayWork Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (with occasional alternate times)ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.Stock, organize, and distribute janitorial, maintenance, and operational supplies throughout campus buildings.Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory processes.Coordinate delivery and pick‑up of supplies from local vendors using a university vehicle.Provide excellent customer service by promptly assisting and responding to customer needs.Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.Serve as backup to the Facilities Store Coordinator, including reviewing inventory needs and supporting purchasing decisions.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Participate in job‑related training and safety programs as required.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.Requires frequent standing, bending, walking, and handling of materials.Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalency.Preferred Skills and ExperienceSuperior customer service skills and experience.Experience with AiM or comparable computer inventory system.Experience with material handling, receiving and delivering products, procurement, and ability to operate a utility truck.Forklift and pallet jack experience, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.Required Certifications or LicensureValid NC Driver's License, or ability to obtain within 30 days.Forklift and pallet jack certification through UNCW EH&S within 30 days.EEO StatementUNCW does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of his or her race, sex (such as gender, gender identity, marital status, childbirth, and pregnancy), age, color, national origin (including ethnicity), religion, disability, sexual orientation, political affiliation, veteran status, military service member status, genetic information, or relationship to other university constituents - except where sex, age, or ability represent bona fide educational or occupational qualifications or where marital status is a statutorily established eligibility criterion for State funded employee benefit programs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
