Job Description

Field Engineer/Assistant Project Manager

Seeking a Field Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to support project teams in both field and office operations. Responsibilities include project coordination, scheduling support, cost tracking, documentation management, and communication withkey stakeholders. This position provides a strong foundation for career growth into project management and construction leadership roles.

Coordinate and manage daily on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines are met. Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain smooth operations. Monitor project progress and address challenges to keep construction on schedule and within budget. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on-site. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Support the project management team in decision-making and problem-solving. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.

A successful Field Engineer/APM should have: experience with construction project management or field engineering in the construction industry. Strong communication and organizational skills to handle on-site operations. Ability to interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction. Proficiency in project management software and tools. A problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to varied environments.
