Food Runner/Host

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team at Drum & Quill. As a critical part of our front-of-house operations, the Food Runner will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards before serving.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to understand order status and any special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations, including the timely clearing of tables.
• Support the front-of-house team by restocking supplies and assisting with guest needs as required.
• Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, answering any questions they may have about menu items.
• Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fast-paced environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
