Description
Food Service - Production Worker - Casual
The Food Production Worker conducts a variety of tasks within the department, (utility, room service, café server and general kitchen worker.) Job status: Casual.
Minimum skills, experience, and educational requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Competency in communication skills, mathematics, and computers.
Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Above average attention to personal hygiene.
ServSafe Food Safety Certification or Ottawa County Health Department Food Safety Program preferred.
Critical demands of the job:
Must be able to lift 30lbs.
Must be able to communicate to both internal and external customers in a professional manner.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to flex hours of schedule to meet the demands of the operation.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
Working knowledge of food and physical safety standards.
Working conditions:
Exposure to potentially hazardous equipment on a daily basis.
Exposure to hot and cold elements (cooking equipment and coolers/freezers.)
On your feet for 90% of workday.
