    We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Food Service Staff/Porter at Audubon Community Care Center. In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

    What You Bring to the Table:

    Essential Qualifications:
    • Keep all kitchen work surfaces clean and sanitized.
    • Sweep and mop floors.
    • Clean and sanitize all food service equipment and surfaces.
    • Wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including tables, chairs, and serving areas. Prepare and serve resident's meals using proper food handling techniques.
    • Receive and unpack deliveries.
    • Maintaining order in storage areas.
    • Empty trash.
    • Follow all health and safety regulations.
    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements

    The Ideal Candidate:
    • 6 months dietary services / cooking experience preferred
    • Knowledge of quality food prep and food service
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Other Qualifications
    • Reliable and punctual.
    • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
