Food Service Worker
Location: William Carey University Company: Zest Culinary Services
Zest Culinary Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team at William Carey University. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work following the school calendar.
In this role, you'll interact directly with students and faculty, so a friendly attitude and strong sense of southern hospitality are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the cash register accurately and make correct change without overages or shortages
Assist with food service line prep and setup
Help in the kitchen with food and beverage stocking, cleaning, and general prep duties
Pack food items and assist with meal service to ensure smooth and timely delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of cashier experience in a fast-paced food service environment
Strong basic math skills and attention to detail
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Reliable, flexible, and a team player with a positive attitude
Excellent communication and customer service skills
