Cook (Tech II) — Food & Nutrition Services

Fuel recovery with great food and warm service. As a Cook at NARMC, you'll prepare quality meals for patients, visitors, and staff while following diet guidelines, safety, and sanitation standards.

Job Summary

Prepare and serve hot/cold foods; set up service lines; follow recipes, safety, and sanitation procedures; and support inventory and cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Cook, portion, and present menu items; restock and maintain serving lines.
• Follow safe food handling, sanitation, and equipment-use procedures; complete daily/weekly cleaning.
• Receive/stock deliveries and rotate inventory; support teamwork across shifts.

Job Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of cooking experience.

Preferred

• ServSafe or similar food safety certification; hospital or large-volume experience.

Compensation & Schedule

• Full-time; variable shifts (early mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays).
