Friday early releaseCafeteria onsiteCandidate must be able to Taste test applications that include allergens and alcoholic beverages.Prefer candidates at or over legal ageNO PHYSICAL FIT TESTING REQUIREDEducation: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, food technology or related Asking 1-2 yrs of Flavor applications or food product development experienceSkills: Organization Skills the ability to work individually and with the team. Strong Math skills required (converting recipes to grams and percentages)Knowledge of Commercial food & Beverage processing• Reports to NAM Senior Portfolio/Collection Manager• Works independently and manages multiple projects - both short term and ongoing - on a deadline basis• Responsible for Sweet Goods and Beverage applications preparation/ production of bench top and pilot lab prototypes• Ability to make a variety of relevant Sweet Goods and Beverages prototypes throughout the evaluation process• Maintain current applications formulations, raw materials and quality specifications using current computer systems• Application of flavors and evaluation in various Sweet Goods and Beverage products• Maintains and applies good laboratory practices Profile:• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/Food Science/Food Technology or related science is required• 1-2 years of experience in flavor applications or food product development is a plus• Proficient in mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations• Knowledge of commercial food or beverage processing, sensory testing, and use of functional ingredients is a plus• Strong communication, computer and organizational skills• Ability to work as a part of a team and individually with minimal oversight• Proficient in MS Office with fluency in English language - both written and verbalSeniority level Seniority level Entry levelEmployment type Employment type ContractJob function Job function Research and ScienceIndustries Chemical Manufacturing and Food and Beverage ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Compunnel Inc. by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Food Technologist” roles.
