Front Desk Supervisor

True North Hotel Group, an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at our Hyatt Place in Marlborough, MA. We offer awesome benefits and a great family culture.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the supervision of the Front Office operations and personnel.
• Promote an atmosphere that fosters friendly and efficient service for our guests.
• Oversee office personnel
• Greet guests and check them into hotel, issue room keys, direct guests to rooms and other areas.
• Respond to guest questions either in person or over the phone
• Fulfill guests' needs, ensuring their stay is as enjoyable as possible; assist with dining, entertainment, and transportation reservations, as needed.
• Resolve guest problems/complaints
• Clerical duties including answering phone calls, taking messages, entering reservations, filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
• Previous hospitality management experience preferred
• Must be able to carry, lift, pull push up to 50lbs
