Full Time Prep Server - Gahanna

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Full-Time Prep Cook and Line Server to join our team at a Private Day School. This inclusive group works together to create quality cooked-from-scratch meals that the school community appreciates and shows their gratitude for.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday.
• 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Available overtime for catering events with prior notice.
• School breaks are off, but summer employment is available during camps hosted at the school.

Pay Type:

$17.00 - $18.00 Hourly

What you'll do:

• Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
• Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.
• Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.
• Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
• Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.
• Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).
• Assist in training new culinary Team Members.
• Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.

What you'll need:

• Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.
• Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.
• Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.
• Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
