The client is a manufacturing organization supporting both domestic and international operations.THIS ROLE IS FULLY ON-SITE, 5X PER WEEK
Job Description
Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, payroll, and month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Own cash flow management through rolling forecasts, working capital monitoring, and proactive oversight of receivables and collections.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics to support business decisions and improve financial visibility.
Establish, monitor, and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and operational KPIs to drive efficiency, accuracy, and accountability across the finance function.
Partner with sales, operations, and leadership teams to resolve issues, improve workflows, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen overall financial performance.
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and audit obligations.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Progressive accounting experience, including leadership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, and other transactional accounting functions.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and credit risk management.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similarly operationally focused environment preferred.
Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting teams while driving accountability and performance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills, with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
