Pay Range: Targeted hourly pay of $12.00, depending on experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Position available August 24, 2026 through May 14, 2027. Schedule flexible around student''s work schedule. 10-20 hours per week.

Travel: May be required

Position Introduction:

The Recruiter & Customer Support Intern assists with membership recruitment, volunteer engagement, and customer service for members of the Girl Scouts community. This role supports outreach events, responds to member inquiries, and helps maintain databases and records to ensure a positive experience for girls, parents, volunteers, and community partners.

Recruitment & Outreach

  • Assist with recruiting new members, volunteers, and interns through community outreach activities.
  • Support recruitment events at schools, community centers, and local events.
  • Help organize recruitment campaigns and membership drives.
  • Represent the organization at outreach events and provide information about programs.

Customer Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Provide helpful and professional customer service to members, parents, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Assist with resolving questions related to programs, events, and membership.
  • Support administrative processes such as membership registration and event information.

Administrative Support

  • Update and maintain membership databases
  • Assist with event logistics, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Prepare outreach materials and reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in nonprofit work, community outreach, or recruitment.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, or databases preferred).
  • Ability to work with diverse groups including youth, parents, and volunteers.

Required Education:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
  • Current college student Sophomore standing or higher
