    Description

    G2 Consulting Group is looking for a full-time Geotechnical Project Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in expanding our presence in Traverse City, MI. This role offers a unique opportunity to help establish and grow a new office while developing client relationships and driving new project opportunities.

    A Project Manager will manage all aspects of the project life cycle, including business development, proposal preparation, execution of services and completion of reports. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of projects, contribute to business development efforts, and play a key role in establishing and growing G2 Consulting Group's new Traverse City office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, including identifying and pursuing prospective business opportunities.
    • Analyze complex geotechnical problems and provide constructible solutions backed by sound engineering practices.
    • Manage various clients, ensuring customers satisfaction through timely delivery of high-quality reports and completion of the services within the expected budget.
    • Oversee and mentor staff engineers and project engineers working within the department.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Must have a P.E. (Professional Engineer Certificate)
    • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with coursework emphasis in geo-sciences, or related degree; Master's degree preferred.
    • 8 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering.
