A most successful Global Logistics Coordinator will have extensive logistics industry knowledge, compliance expertise, import/export acumen, strong communication skills, and be a critical thinker and problem‑solver. They thrive in fast‑paced environments while delivering quality work on tight deadlines.Role & Responsibility Plan, schedule and track inbound and outbound shipmentsPrepare and audit customs and shipping documentsManage freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking companies, and others to meet performance and cost objectivesCollaborate & communicate cross‑functionally on expectations and statusTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the logistics processEnsure shipping activities in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policiesIdentify opportunities to improve service, cost and complianceJob Requirement - Education & Experience BA/BS degree with 3+ years of experience working with freight forwarders and managing import/export shipmentsExperience and knowledge of shipping HAZMAT oversized cargo desiredStrong understanding of supply chain and logistics processesRelationship management of key service providersNegotiation with service providersOther All personal information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
