Role Scope

Define ingestion and transformation pipelines that turn scan outputs and utility records into controlled 3D infrastructure data.

The RFI concerns a secure 3D data-sharing platform for built and natural underground assets, including water and sewer pipes, gas lines, electrical conduits, fiber-optic cables, and soil composition. Responses must address feasible sensing, data-integration, accuracy, security, and operating approaches without presenting the notice as an awarded implementation contract.

The Opportunity

FuntoNetwork is seeking a 3D GIS and Utility Data Integration Engineer for upcoming project opportunity: New York City Office of Technology and Innovation.

Core Responsibilities

• Map the sources and destinations of NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research exchanges.
• Define the records and fields required by each NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research interface.
• Check the existing NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research inputs for conversion problems.
• Specify the transformations needed for NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research exchanges.
• Implement the assigned NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research interface components.
• Add validation checks to the NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research exchanges.
• Test normal and exception NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research exchanges.
• Reconcile transferred NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research records with their source values.
• Diagnose and correct NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research conversion or interface failures.
• Document the NYC underground-infrastructure scanning research mappings, error handling and reconciliation results.
