Excellent employment opportunity for a Contracts Advisor in the Wilmington, DE area.
Draft, negotiate and advise business owners on HCP agreements: Speaker Programs, Consulting Agreements, Advisory Board Agreements, Authorship Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements etc.
Develop appropriate contract content and exercising sound judgment on when to escalate negotiation to Legal.
Ensure contracts include relevant financial disclosure and data privacy language, if applicable
Set-up and manage activities and deviations from annual plans within relevant tool
Initiate and manage payments related to contracted services delivered by HCPs
Confirm completion of services as expected and invoiced. Work with vendors and accounts payable to resolve payment issues.
Manage HCP reimbursements for out of pocket expenses or other relevant transfers of value associated with delivery of the service.
Ensure appropriate documentation is archived prior to closing out activities.
Assist activity owner with information required for cross-border HCP interactions requiring local Nominated Signatory review and/or approval
Collaborate with other contracting/sourcing specialists and assess internal/external environment to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Serve as a technical systems' super-user (iBuy, ePay, Veeva Meetings/Events, etc.) to provide support and guidance across US MA and to third party vendors
Serve as a single point of contact and ad hoc team member for assigned department/s
Coordinate and manage annual HCP engagement plan per aligned brand
Develop project plans/trackers to support activities involving contracts with multiple suppliers (e.g., advisory boards, expert science panels, speaker bureau training)
Work closely with key customers, both internal and external, to understand the activity and contracting needs as well as to establish roles and responsibilities
Contribute to and deliver relevant training to internal/external customers as it relates to the contract through payment process
Experience:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 2 -3 years of experience with contract management
Understanding of contract development and business law
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with SAP, purchase to pay systems and processes, Procurement
Demonstrated project leadership, strong project management skills with the ability to handle competing projects simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong ethical, collaborative and influencing skills
Excellent computer skills, including data and reporting software programs
