Seton Catholic Preparatory High School is accepting applications for a Girls Beach Volleyball Head Coach for the upcoming school year. We are excited to identify a strong leader who will continue to build on the tradition of our program while developing student-athletes in alignment with Seton Catholic's mission and core values.
We are looking to fill this position in the next few weeks in order to prepare for open court events, and to ensure a smooth transition. Seton home sand courts are at Chuparosa Park, Chandler.
Those interested in coaching both girls and boys teams may apply for both positions.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and lead practices, open court, and game-day preparation
Coach and develop student-athletes in sand volleyball skill, strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Oversee season planning, scheduling, and program communication
Maintain team discipline and uphold school and athletic department policies
Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and school administration
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of student-athletes at all activities
Drive team on Seton activity busses to games. This requires an online driver training, MVD clearance, and an onsite vehicle orientation.
Qualifications:
Prior sand volleyball coaching experience (high school or club preferred)
Strong knowledge of sand volleyball fundamentals, training principles, and player development
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to the academic, personal, and spiritual growth of student-athletes
Ability to support and represent the mission of Seton Catholic Preparatory
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
