    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Reclaimer/Pulverizer Mixer Operator to join our highway construction team. This position is responsible for operating a reclaimer or pulverizer to break up, mix, and stabilize roadway materials for highway and road construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, a strong understanding of soil stabilization techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality.

    What You'll Do

    • Operate a reclaimer/pulverizer to grind and mix asphalt, base materials, and soil for roadway preparation
    • Adjust and control equipment settings to ensure proper depth, mixing, and material consistency
    • Work closely with the site supervisor, engineers, and other operators to meet project specifications
    • Conduct routine inspections, maintenance checks, and minor repairs to prevent equipment breakdowns
    • Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
    • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and maintain efficiency
    • Perform other construction-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

    What We're Looking For

    • Minimum of 2+ years operating a reclaimer/pulverizer or similar heavy equipment on highway or road construction projects
    • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not required; Heavy Equipment Operator Certification is a plus
    • Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy machinery
    • Understanding of soil stabilization and asphalt recycling processes
    • Ability to read and follow construction plans, grades, and specifications
    • Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
    • Physical ability to work in outdoor environments (including extreme heat), lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods
    • Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Dependable, self-motivated, and task-oriented
