Description

The Hermes Boutique Manager is in charge of all the aspects of the boutique, including driving the business to achieve key performance metrics, managing the staff members in all of their activities (coaching, training and assisting them in achieving sales objectives); demonstrating an active management presence on the sales floor, modelling exceptional service and ensuring all team members embody the Hermes spirit.Create and implement strategy to achieve sales objectives, setting an example to the team by acting as the first ambassador to customersHandle customer complaints and be strong support of the team in case of conflictsEnsure a clear understanding of sales policies and procedures by each team memberCheck the presentation and appearance of the store and ensure standards are upheld in line with the brand's visual criteriaPeople DevelopmentProvide inspirational and motivational leadership, giving vision and clarity to the teamCoordinate and motivate the team to provide a consistent level of service to customers, and ensure consistent relations with certain customers (VIPs, regular customers, etc.)Participate in the recruiting process, integration and training sales staff in terms of product knowledge, customer service and the art of selling Hermes productsOrganize tasks for each team member, formulating objectives, assessing the results of the sales team and involving them in a continuous process of performance improvement and career developmentEnsure sufficient resources are allocated in conjunction with client flowEnsure compliance with local law and company policies, including the area of health and safetyProduct ManagementBe the primary communication link between product merchants and internal stakeholders; prepare and participate in the bi‑monthly Brand / Product conference callsMaintain and enhance local brand relationships, while upholding confidentiality in sales and performance related informationParticipate in the development and execution of merchandise strategy including promotions, seasonal buys, etc.With the support of the Merchandising team, prepare a buying strategy based on your store's specificitybuy the new collections, four times a year;monitor stock on a regular basis (reorder, transfers) in partnership with the Merchandising teamOperationsMonthly written reporting to the brand and management and propose action plans following store performance;Ensure proper maintenance of the store.Serve as the Hermes Ambassador to the customersCompile and update customer database, develop opportunities and clienteling actionsIdeal CandidateBachelor's Degree in Management, Business or equivalent3-4+ years' retail store experience; leadership experience with sales and luxury merchandise a plusProven ability to lead through leaders, with direct management of Team Leads and oversight of sales teamProven success managing appointment‑driven business with a strong retained VIP client baseStrong multi‑dimensional leadership ability, enjoy working in a culturally diverse environmentAble to make sound decisions with relevant facts at hand, does not shy away from conflictWork independently and on weekends and outside of regular office hours, if requiredFluency in English and other languages as required by location401k Plan ContributionsPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysParking ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsCompensationThe salary range for this position is $70,000-$110,000.
