Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in food services, dishwashing, or related kitchen/food production role preferred
• Previous experience in hospital food services or dietary department is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to strict sanitation and food safety standards
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Food handler certification or ServSafe preferred (if available)

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dishes, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hospital dietary and food safety standards
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and follow manufacturer and hospital protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow infection control and sanitation procedures (HACCP/OSHA practices)
• Assist with receiving, storing, and transporting food items and supplies as needed
• Support the dietary team by assisting with basic food service tasks during peak periods
• Work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and patient safety
