You will have the autonomy to refine strategy, expand market share, and strengthen key partnerships, all while working with a supportive ownership group that values performance and initiative.This is more than selling rooms—this is building a high-performing revenue engine.Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the hotel's overall sales strategy across corporate, group, and transient segmentsDrive revenue growth through proactive prospecting, account development, and strategic positioningBuild and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, associations, and local partnersCollaborate closely with the General Manager and operations team to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfactionIdentify and reactivate past accounts while developing new revenue channelsOversee sales forecasting, budgeting, contracting, and reporting with accuracy and disciplineRepresent the hotel within the Newark business community, including local networking events, CVB initiatives, and industry functionsUtilize market data, STR reports, and competitive analysis to inform strategy and maximize profitabilityWhat We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, preferably within a full-service or branded hotel environmentProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team while driving measurable resultsStrong background in revenue strategy, forecasting, and budgetingA proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunitiesExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsBachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferredExperience with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and reporting toolsBase salary up to $105,000Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offHotel and travel discountsSupportive leadership team with a focus on growth and developmentTake the Next Step If you are a results-driven sales leader ready to make an impact in a high-demand Newark market, we want to hear from you.Step into a role where your strategy drives performance, your relationships fuel growth, and your leadership shapes the future of the hotel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
