    HR Specialist

    About the Role

    We're looking for a highly organized and people-focused Human Resources Specialist to support key HR initiatives across recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations.

    In this role, you'll be at the center of our employee experience—helping to attract early career talent, support new hires, and contribute to programs that strengthen our culture. You'll also play a critical role in building strong partnerships with universities and technical schools to help grow our future workforce.

    What You'll Do
    Early Career Recruiting & Campus Engagement
    • Build and maintain partnerships with technical schools, colleges, and universities
    • Coordinate internship, co-op, and early career recruiting programs
    • Represent the company at career fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities
    • Manage student job postings and support candidate screening, scheduling, and communications
    Onboarding & Employee Experience
    • Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including orientation, documentation, and system setup
    • Serve as a key point of contact for interns, co-ops, managers, and mentors
    • Help ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience
    HR Operations & Administration
    • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies
    • Process employee changes (promotions, transfers, system updates, etc.)
    • Ensure HR data accuracy across systems while maintaining strict confidentiality
    • Provide administrative support for HR programs, projects, and initiatives
    Engagement & Culture
    • Support employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives
    • Assist in planning HR events, meetings, and culture-building activities
    • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and HR projects
    What You Bring
    Experience & Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
    • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related function

    Work Environment

    This position is onsite five days per week for the first six months to support onboarding, training, and relationship building. After that, employees may have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (three days onsite per week) based on performance and business needs.
