We're looking for aHuman Resources Analyst to join ourHuman Resources Division!
In this advanced-level professional role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of administrative and operational functions that support the day-to-day success of our Human Resources Division. Responsibilities include payroll processing, employee administration, records management and office operations.
This position also serves as the primary point of contact for the Human Resources Division, welcoming employees and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll provide administrative support that ensures the Welcome Desk, Front Office, and Human Resources Division operate smoothly and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of human resources experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
In this role, you will:
Process time and attendance transactions in the LaGov-HCM payroll system to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Independently generate and analyze biweekly payroll reports from LaGov-HCM to ensure accurate employee compensation. Identify discrepancies and communicates findings to the appropriate Time Administrator for resolution.
Perform functions in support of the Human Resources Division.
Respond to internal calls and emails in the Human Resources Division and disseminates them to appropriate staff members.
Assist the human resources staff, during peak workloads, by performing various functions including but not limited to sorting personnel actions for distribution.
Assist staff with a variety of administrative tasks for large or rush projects.
Serve as HR Safety and Loss Prevention Warden by monitoring fire drills, building maintenance, hazard situations, etc. in compliance with ORM requirements.
Responsible for establishing, managing and maintaining the standardized filing system for the Human Resources records management program. Ensure maintenance of HR's file system, to include creating folders for new records and filing official records.
Manage Human Resources document purge in accordance with record retention guidelines.
Manage the division's public record requests and prepares documents requested in conjunction with established record policy.
Assist the HR Director as needed.
Work on special projects as assigned by the HR Director, HR Manager or Executive Staff.
Serve as a backup to other HR staff as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) at each level:
The Human Resources Analyst A (AS-613) has a starting rate of: $20.20/hourly; $1616.00/biweekly.
The Human Resources Analyst B (AS-614) has a starting rate of: $21.61/hourly; $1728.80/biweekly.
The Human Resources Analyst C (AS-616) has a starting rate of: $24.31/hourly; $1944.80/biweekly.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

A Tax and Natural Disaster Clearance will be conducted on all selected applicants to validate the timely submission of tax returns and payments. It is a requirement that all Revenue employees must adhere to all tax laws of the State of Louisiana.
