Base pay range $40.00/hr - $45.00/hrDuration : 06 Months (Possibility of extension/conversion based on performance and budget)Client : One of the largest Aerospace and Defense companies in the USOverview We are looking for a Facilities Support Technician who provides Preventative & Reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds.Duties Limited Preventative & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems.Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds.Basic Carpentry and maintenance of facility physical structure.Coordinating with vendors on contracted work.Basic trouble shooting/repairs on Electrical, Plumbing, walls & floors.Qualifications Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.Must be capable of developing job knowledge/skills.Preferred Additional Skills Experience with using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g. Faciliworks)OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and/or other related education or professional credentials a plus.HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical certifications a plus.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function OtherIndustries Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing, Defense and Space Manufacturing, and Airlines and Aviation#J-18808-Ljbffr
