We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.We're seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries operate at peak performance. In this essential role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment for our 9 million square foot campus. Your expertise will help prevent equipment failures, minimize downtime, and support the seamless operation of our world-class culinary team. If you take pride in precision, problem-solving, and keeping essential systems running smoothly, we'd love to have you on our team.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipmentInstall, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systemsConduct preventive maintenance and safety inspectionsEnsure compliance with OSHA, refrigeration, gas, and electrical safety standardsUse hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to resolve technical issuesCore Equipment You'll Work OnRefrigeration: Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machinesCooking Equipment: Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skilletsVentilation & HVAC: Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systemsDishwashing & Sanitation: High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systemsLive affordably in a city known for its rising tech talent.Epic is located just outside Madison, Wisconsin, the second fastest growing market for tech talent in the United States and home to the state capital and the University of Wisconsin.
