Job TitleInspector/Packer – Ashland, Ohio, United StatesShift & PayShift: AfternoonShift Premium: $2.00Pay Rate: $18.50 per hourPosition OverviewThe primary function of the Inspector/Packer is inspecting and packing bags to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.Reasonable Accommodations StatementTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line.Inspect and packet quality bags into box/tote per bag specifications.Ensure that box/tote counts are accurate as per bag specification.Maintain quality standards and report suspect or defective product for review.Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed.Practice 5S, Good Housekeeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards.Learn to pack all bag specifications on all machines in production facility.Complete all documentation completely and accurately.Assist in the training of other Inspector/Packer personnel.Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience: No previous experience required; on‑job training provided.Specific Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jack.Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills.Competency StatementsAct: Safely, responsibly and ethically.Develop: Positive, collaborative teams and healthy work environments.Deliver: Timely, innovative and sustainable focused solutions.Drive: Quality in products, service, and attainment of professional goals.Integrate: Core values of commitment, responsibility, and innovation into all aspects of work.Work EnvironmentManufacturing Plant, climate controlled.Benefits and Perks401(k) with matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountsFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid elder carePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
