The Interim Recruiter will support a rapidly growing technology organization by leading full-cycle recruiting efforts for highly specialized engineering and technical Aerospace positions. This role will focus on sourcing and recruiting talent across areas such as software engineering, systems engineering, AI/ML, edge computing, aerospace, defense, and other advanced technology disciplines. The consultant will partner closely with hiring leaders and the TA team to identify, engage, and secure top technical talent in a highly competitive market.

Worksite Location: Hybrid - Minneapolis, MN

Salary Range: Hourly rate $50-$60, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for highly technical engineering and technology positions
• Source and engage passive candidates across aerospace, defense, space technology, software, AI/ML, systems engineering, and related disciplines
• Build targeted talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill and niche technical roles
• Partner with hiring leaders to understand technical requirements, team needs, and talent market challenges
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify candidates beyond traditional recruiting channels
• Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruiting lifecycle, from initial outreach through offer acceptance
• Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and competitive hiring recommendations
• Collaborate with talent acquisition and business leaders to prioritize hiring needs in a rapidly evolving environment
• Maintain candidate activity and reporting within the ATS

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven full-cycle recruiting experience for highly technical engineering positions
• Direct experience recruiting within aerospace, space technology, defense, government contracting, advanced manufacturing, robotics, autonomy, AI/ML, software engineering, or related industries
• Strong sourcing expertise and demonstrated success finding passive technical talent
• Established network within engineering, aerospace, defense, or space technology communities preferred
• Ability to understand and discuss complex technical skill sets with hiring managers and candidates
• Experience recruiting for roles such as Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Edge Computing Engineers, Embedded Engineers, Aerospace Engineers, or similar technical disciplines
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
• Experience utilizing ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Workday, or similar systems
