We are the next generation of vegetable growers, inspired to put quality, flavor, and customers first by providing greenhouse‑grown vegetables from our farms that are strategically located throughout North America.Job Summary The Inventory Allocator is responsible for locating, evaluating, tagging, staging product for shipment and communicating to appropriate parties on rejected product.Responsibilities Locate, evaluate, tag and stage product to prepare for shipping and fulfilment of customer ordersMonitor inventory levels and quality of product to ensure levels meet customer requirements and specificationsLiaise with commodities, shipping, production, receiving and food safety departments concerning inbound product needed or quality issues on outbound product; investigate and take corrective actionComplete end of shift report detailing what product has been marked and stagedEnsure the health, safety, and cleanliness of the work environmentOther core expectations as defined by the companyQualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education preferredMinimum one (1) year forklift experience requiredMinimum of one (1) year inventory management and/or quality assurance experience in the produce industry preferredKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety preferredSome computer knowledge required; Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), ERP software, FAMOUS® preferredExcellent analytical, time management and organizational skillsSelf‑motivated with the ability to work independently and in a teamAbility to work in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment; possess a strong attention to detailSteel‑toed shoes are requiredWork Environment The site is refrigerated and temperature controlled to maintain the integrity of the product. It is a cold environment, however, it is not at freezing temperatures.Hours of work may vary depending on business needs; flexibility is required.The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision capabilities required; employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods is required.The position may involve needing to lift up to 30‑pounds, occasionally up to 50‑pounds, using proper techniques.Pure Flavor is committed to providing an accessible and barrier‑free environment for all individuals, including candidates and employees.
