____________________________________________________________________________________ _______________________SUMMARY/OBJECTIVEThe Inventory Analyst position is responsible for improving and then maintaining the accuracy of the inventory records through continuous cycle counts, root cause analysis of discrepancies and implementing process improvements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESControl and maintain Inventory accuracy in the following areas:Finish Goods WarehouseComponent WarehouseComponent Offsite WarehousePistol Assembly / Rifle AssemblyEnsure inventory data integrity for all areas and maintain the material inventory score cardPerform continuous analysis of Inventory activity to ensure meeting Management guidelinesPlan, conduct, record, and track results of daily cycle count activityPerform root cause analysis on discrepanciesCorrect incomplete transactions, resolve root causeAssist to establish and control minimum and maximum Inventory levelsMonitor transfers of materials within Kimber and between branchesImplement change orders as required on material in inventoryCoordinate with QC the nonconforming process to ensure accurate accountability of parts to scrapped, routed for rework, returned to production for “use as is” or returned to suppliers.Manage the separation of usable and excess and obsolete material in inventoryProvide backup to warehouse / shipping personnel when required.Provide support during Serialized inventory and End of Year countsProvide leadership and guidance to cycle counters in order to accomplish inventory management activitiesWork on special projects as requiredAll other duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONSDemonstrated inventory control experience in a manufacturingHigh attention to detailStrong Excel knowledgeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Exercise good logic and common senseEDUCATION/EXPERIENCERequired:HS Diploma or higherFamiliar with manufacturing environmentPreferred:Visual software experienceMinimum 1 year experience as Inventory AnalystExternal/Internal Audit ExperienceOTHER SKILLS & ABILITIESAttendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends.
