Position Summary:Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking. Liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMCompensation: $21.26 per hourMajor ResponsibilitiesPerform cycle counts and correct inventory as neededEnsure system count matches physical on handsLook for missing product in storage locationResolve discrepancies at pallet and location levelResearch and document root cause of quality error reports (QEs)Assist with clearing shorts in WMSWork with customer to resolve store inventory claimsAssist with consolidation effortsIdentify and classify damaged product. Move to appropriate holding area once damage process is completedSeek out aging product and ensure it is ready for put away or locate missing productAssist receiving with Special Order Service (SOS) errorsEnsure packaging types are not mixed and correct if foundInspect product for damage using a safety cutter, flashlight and tapeCommunicate with cross-shift clerks on inventory needsUse PIT Equipment to conduct indirect inventory work & other tasks as designated by managementWork with customer on product recalls and write offsAudit inbound POs for accuracyVerify shorts, overages, and unexpected items.
