Your work will help ensure the right materials are available at the right time to keep our production operations running smoothly.Key Responsibilities Safety Comes First Champion a culture of safety in every task and interaction.Follow all company safety procedures and proactively identify opportunities to improve workplace safety.Inventory Accuracy & Control Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits.Investigate inventory discrepancies and help identify root causes.Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.Update inventory records and maintain accurate stock levels.Data Analysis & Reporting Compare physical inventory counts to system records, transfer orders, receiving reports, and sales orders.Prepare reports on inventory status, shortages, obsolete materials, and inventory variances.Support management with accurate inventory reporting and analysis.Continuous Improvement Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.Assist in identifying trends and opportunities to prevent future inventory issues.Warehouse Operations Support Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.Support warehouse operations after daily inventory responsibilities are completed.Serve as a backup for batch ticket closing and ensure accurate data entry.Help train and support employees on proper documentation and inventory procedures.Team Contribution Collaborate with warehouse, production, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives.What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GEDForklift certifiedMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Active position requiring twisting, bending, and climbingMay be exposed to a variety of temperatures from -30 to 70 F.Must have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.Team player with attention to detailStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent computer skills and data entry proficiencyStrong mathematical and analytical abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyDependable, reliable, and accountable work ethicPreferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems and inventory management softwarePrevious inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing experienceExperience conducting cycle counts and inventory reconciliationLocation: The role is onsite at Forest Grove, Oregon FacilitySalary: The estimated salary for this role is $22-24/hourStarting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.Benefits: At Chaucer Foods, we care about our employees.
