Inventory Control Associate – Forklift OperatorFull Time HourlyCanton, GA, US4 days ago Requisition ID: 4377Salary: $17.25 AnnuallyAbout the RoleAs an Inventory Consolidator, you will be responsible for consolidating and organizing warehouse inventory and preparing shipments for outbound processing. This role requires the safe operation of warehouse equipment including the sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack, RF scanners, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.This position requires flexibility and a willingness to cross-train in multiple warehouse functions as part of our “Move to the Work” culture, which encourages employees to expand their skills and knowledge.ScheduleMonday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Additional overtime, early arrivals, or extended hours may be required based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize RF scanners to track inventory movements, verify product locations, and maintain inventory accuracy throughout the consolidation processConsolidate inventory to support efficient warehouse operationsMove and organize pallets throughout the warehouse using sit-down forklift and EPJStretch wrap and prepare pallets for storageAssist with damage recovery and disposition of damaged productsPerform inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracyOrganize warehouse inventory and maintain orderly storage locationsIdentify and report inventory discrepancies or operational concernsFollow all warehouse safety procedures and company policiesSupport additional warehouse functions as assignedQualificationsPrevious warehouse experience required; intermediate-level warehouse experience preferredExperience operating a sit-down forklift required; electric pallet jack preferredAbility to perform inventory counts and maintain accurate recordsExperience with inventory organization, pallet movement, and order consolidationStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to read and interpret work instructions, inventory documents, and safety proceduresStrong problem-solving skills and commitment to workplace safetyPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistanceProlonged periods of standing and walking on concreteFrequent bending, stooping, and reaching, and overhead liftingAbility to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperaturesManual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small itemsClimbing off on forkliftsBenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes:Major medical, dental, and vision benefits available day one – no waiting periodCompany-paid life insurance and Employee Assistance Program401(k) with company matchUbique Group offers 9 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday per year and up to 13 accrued PTO days per yearUbique Group is an equal‑opportunity employer.
