    Shift ScheduleTuesday‑Friday: 4 pm–2:30 am. Then: Wednesday‑Saturday: 4 pm–2:30 am. The position will transfer once a new building opens.PayHourly: $18.00Employee Ownership ProgramBenefits include:Ownership stake – co‑ownership of the company.Financial rewards – potential for increased earnings through share appreciation.Sense of belonging – deeper connection and commitment to work.Community and collaboration – supportive work environment.No cost to you; shares given yearly based on salary.Job PurposeThe Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for conducting cycle counts and bin location audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies, and working with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager on inventory‑related functions concerning materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in the stockroom, warehouse, or yard.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform physical counts of inventory items to maintain accurate records.Count and reconcile randomly chosen or selected part numbers and/or locations daily.Input inventory control data accurately to ensure integrity.Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time.Trace item history to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.Spend 80% of the workday performing inventory activities in the warehouse using an RF gun or tablet; 20% at a computer terminal.Travel to and assist at other facilities as needed.Have reliable transportation.Additional ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Write routine reports and correspondence.Ensure compliance with inventory processes and contractual obligations.Physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.Use a computer terminal to account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.QualificationsMinimum 1–3 months related experience and/or training in inventory control.Minimum 1–3 months related experience and/or training in a warehouse environment.Experience operating power equipment such as a reach truck, EPJ, or cherry picker/order picker.Experience with WMS software is a plus; Synapse preferred.PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database.Education and/or Experience RequiredHigh School Diploma or GED.Ability to read and interpret documents and safety instructions.Ability to read, write, and send emails.Ability to physically count items on shelves, racks, and pallets.Forklift certification a plus.Language SkillsEffective communication, reading, writing, and speaking in English.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with variables where limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to determine root cause and recommend corrective action.Computer SkillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite for emails and report creation.Physical DemandsOccasionally lift or move up to 55 pounds.Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Communicate and speak in front of others.Talk, hear, stand, and walk frequently.Work in excess of 8 continuous hours when required.Work under stressful situations, maintain accuracy, and concentrate on multiple tasks.Maintain 20/20 corrected vision.Speak and communicate clarity over the phone.Be in sound physical health as determined by a physician.Work EnvironmentExposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.Noise level ranges from quiet to moderately loud.Employer RightsThis job description is intended to provide general information about the Inventory Control Clerk position.
