Ensures stock levels are checked and replenished according to daily schedule. Facilitates ordering of direct/non-stock product(s) and places items in Pyxis upon arrival. Manages daily stock-outs. Performs regular/routine cleaning and expiration date checks. Communicate and educate caregivers to ensure proper use and operation of Pyxis Supply System.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesHigh School Diploma preferred; medical/surgical technician experience preferred; minimum two (2) year prior experience in storeroom, central supply, sterilization and cart exchange, or Pyxis Med Station operations.Good overall knowledge of medical/surgical supplies and usage.Knowledge of materials management computer operation system and automated supply stations/systems a plus.Ability to make adjustments to system(s) as required.Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.Flexibility in work schedule, assignments, and work load.WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATIONThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
