Role SummaryThe Inventory Supervisor assigns and supervises daily inventory control to ensure accuracy, efficiency and seamless operations collaborating with various departments to reduce cost and enhance performance.Main TasksLeads, guides and directs team to include hiring, training, monitoring performance, coaching, terminating in accordance with Company and HR Policies to contribute to the overall success and culture within the organizationFulfills procedures, instructions, orders and environmental laws and all generally applicable legal regulationsAnalyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortagesPlans and executes stocktaking according standardsFulfills the requests of supplier ordering processCommunicates daily with Supervisors, Plant Management and Corporate Management teams on all things inventoryResponsible for and contacts customer or supplier consignmentResponsible for planning stocktaking at subcontractor, consignment stock and external warehouseCreates and reports KPI'sDeriving measures and improvementsHandles and tracks scrapping activities for the plantSupports ERP postings (correction movement types)Ensures compliance with audits within the workplaceFollows and adheres to all safety rules and regulationsAdditional duties as assignedYour ProfileEducation:Bachelors Degree or combination of education and experience to provide an equivalent backgroundExperience:2+ years of relevant work experience, with special focus on inventory management and stocktaking preferred2+ years supervisory experience preferredSkills and AbilitiesMust possess strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and attention to detail to prioritize and work well under time pressureExcellent computer skills to include MS Office products with a strong understanding of Excel and basic formulas; ERP skills required, Sage X3 a plusForklift certification or experience a plusExperience in inventory management, cycle counting and using scanners to track productMust have 5S skills (keep work area safe and clean)Must work safely and identify all safety issues using the STOP, CALL, WAIT system until repairs are made!Lean Manufacturing experience desiredMust have good analytical and problem-solving abilitiesMust have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of employees and customers/vendorsMust be able to work as part of a team to ensure all company standards are metMust be able flexible with the ability to adapt to last minute changesSelf-initiative and ability to work under pressureMust be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policiesSalary: $60k-70k#J-18808-Ljbffr
