Inventory SupervisorLocation: South Plainfield, NJ (Plant) – Filling industrialPay Range: $75,000–$85,000ResponsibilitiesSupervises conformity of deliveries, prepares deliveries according to incoming orders, realizes expedition, qualifies & follows return flow (default, transport return, wrong choice...), realizes inventories, informs internal customers about stocks.Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies.Maintain inventory records, prepare reports, and ensure effective warehouse performance and inventory control.Monitor and maintain safety stocks for critical and non‑critical items.Manage slow‑moving, non‑moving, and obsolete items by coordinating with operations and recommending strategies to reduce them.Identify safety stocks for replenishment and prepare inventory reports.Collaborate with Purchasing department to maintain adequate stock levels.Establish and update warehouse policies and procedures.Ensure compliance by rolling out the latest warehouse procedures to all departments.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in procurement, inventory management or business‑related field (or equivalent work experience).One year of prior inventory management/supply chain experience.Effective communication with top management, facility managers and field operators.Preferred QualificationsExperience auditing industrial management systems.Experience auditing ISO 9001 and other quality related management systems.Experience auditing HSE related International Standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).Proficiency in Google Suite applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); ability to use financial applications within ERP software (SAP, Oracle).Prior experience in the bulk/gas industry preferred.BenefitsComprehensive family benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death & dismemberment, disability insurance, employee assistance program.14‑week paid maternity/paternity benefit.401(k) retirement plan with company match.Tuition assistance and scholarship program for eligible employees' dependents.Paid holidays, vacation, sick time, floating holidays, jury duty and funeral/bereavement leave.Pre‑tax commuter transportation benefit, parental leave and other standard benefits.Benefits begin after 30 days of employment.Equal Employment Opportunity InformationWe are an equal‑opportunity employer.
