Team Leader Opportunity

A team leader demonstrates our core values, embraces Chick-fil-A culture, and has a service-oriented heart. Our team leaders are responsible for supporting the senior management in executing daily operations and holding team members accountable for each component of operational excellence and our service recipe. The two main areas of focus for a team leader are completing tasks to make the restaurant function effectively and training/developing team members. Team leaders lead by example and set the standard for others to follow.

In addition to working directly for an independent owner/operator, back of the house team members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience for everyone who serves each day and ensuring all guests receive Chick-fil-A's unique service and food.

Responsibilities of the team leader in the back of the house:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Know the tasks of all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembly, line, and food preparation.
• Replenish kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen tidy, clean, and orderly at all times
• Stay current with new products launched by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to management
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing internal training and staying updated on any changes
• Complete all assigned opening or closing duties
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Operate in daily activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Offer an immediate and respectful response to guest needs
• Assist in training new employees, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team.
• Be a friendly and encouraging team player
• Opening and/or closing, lead changes, key holder
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• No prior experience as a shift leader, team leader, supervisor, team captain, restaurant manager, assistant restaurant manager required, but preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
