Journeyman Electrician

Travis Electric is a Sioux Falls based company entering our 20th year of business, with a focus on professionalism, dependability and attention to detail. We are actively hiring journeyman electriciansfor work in our Commercial and Residential Divisions. We have a strong mix of both service work and new construction that needs your expertise. These positions are full time, long term and local.

Requirements:
Must hold a current Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License
Must be willing and able to obtain an Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (company support available)
Must be willing and able to obtain a South Dakota JM Electrician License (company support available)
Minimum two years electrical experience in commercial or residential work
Clean driving record
Valid Driver's License
Benefits:
Competitive pay based on experience: $28.00 - $42 per hour

Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (Required within a defined timeframe)
South Dakota Journeyman Electrician License (Required within a defined timeframe)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to physically lift up to and in excess of 50 pounds
Must be able to climb ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, pushing and pulling objects
Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment
Ability to work at elevated heights on ladders and/or scaffolds
Must be able to physically work up to ten hour days
Physical work is a primary part (more the 70%) of the job
