Position SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bike Mechanic & Fulfillment Associate to support our daily store operations. This role combines entry-level mechanical work with customer order preparation, inventory control, and operational support to ensure every customer receives a safe, fully prepared bicycle and a seamless experience.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the bicycle industry while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Order PreparationPrepare and verify customer orders, including bicycles, batteries, chargers, locks, helmets, and accessories.Ensure all bikes are clean, charged, and ready for customer pickup.Bicycle Intake & Basic RepairsInspect returned bicycles and document their condition in company systems.Identify bikes requiring additional repairs or diagnostics.Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.Flat tire and tube replacementsTire inflation and pressure checksBrake adjustmentsBasic drivetrain adjustmentsBattery inspectionsSafety inspectionsAccessory installationMinor component replacementsEscalate complex repairs to senior mechanics when needed.Inventory & Operations SupportPerform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.Assist with receiving and organizing new inventory.Update repair statuses in company systems.Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to ensure order readiness and workflow efficiency.Quality & SafetyPerform final quality inspections before bicycles are released to customers.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.Follow company procedures and safety standards.RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.Strong attention to detail.Good communication skills.Ability to lift and move bicycles and batteries (up to 50 lbs).Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.Strong organizational and time management skills, a customer-focused mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.PreferredPrevious experience working with bicycles or mechanical equipment.Retail, warehouse, or fulfillment experience.Familiarity with inventory management systems.Experience using smartphones or tablets for operational software.Compensation$18/hour#J-18808-Ljbffr
