job summary: Industry-leading manufacturer in the Kankakee area seeks a Junior Electrical Engineer to participate in all electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities within the facility. You should have industrial electric and industrial automation - PLC, HMI, etc - experience. Schedule is 12 hour shifts, rotating night and days. 2 or 4 year degree in Electrical Technology/Engineering prefered
Two years of electrical maintenance experience.
Experience with PLC's, VFD's, and controls
location: BOURBONNAIS, Illinois job type: Permanent salary: $110,000 - 138,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: No Degree Required
responsibilities:
Developing the necessary knowledge and tools to successfully maintain and improve the equipment and processes of our division
Assisting with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mill equipment including, but not limited to: AC/DC drive units, PLC's, HMI's, and overhead cranes
Providing support to the maintenance and operations team
Developing and promoting safe work practices for maintaining plant equipment
Applying technical knowledge to solve problems with plant equipment
Taking care of our customers by executing the division's safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives
