Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Pricing Specialist to lead pricing strategy for domestic and international freight forwarding operations, including OOG (oversized/heavy cargo). This role requires strong analytical ability, vendor negotiation skills, and in-depth understanding of transportation cost structures.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage pricing strategies for freight forwarding and transportation services.
- Create tailored pricing for OOG shipments (Flat Rack, Open Top, Breakbulk).
- Build and maintain vendor relationships; negotiate domestic transport and special equipment rates.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to optimize pricing and reduce overweight/oversized cargo costs.
- Provide daily and weekly pricing and sales performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements.
- Continuously expand understanding of domestic supply chain trends, pricing models, and equipment types.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Korean and English required
- 3–5 years of relevant pricing or logistics experience
- Strong multitasking ability and comfort in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
