(Korean Bilingual) Trucking Operations Team Manager

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage transportation teams across multiple locations to ensure seamless trucking operations.
  
• Develop and implement transportation strategies to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
  
• Oversee and analyze key performance metrics, tracking progress and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  
• Manage budget planning and cost control, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to company goals.
  
• Supervise profit and loss (P&L) management, providing insights and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  
• Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers, ensuring the best contract terms.
  
• Mentor, train, and assess staff performance, fostering a results-driven and collaborative team environment.
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company safety regulations, promoting a safe and secure work environment.
  
• Address and resolve transportation issues, working proactively with internal teams and external partners to prevent disruptions.
  

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  
• 10+ years of experience in transportation management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  
• Strong expertise in fleet operations, route optimization, vendor negotiations, and cost reduction strategies.
  
• Ability to analyze financial performance, develop cost-saving initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management within the logistics industry.
  
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
