About the Role The Lake Compounce Retail Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining the integrity of inventory system information and the retail physical goods. The candidate should possess strong attention to detail, be proficient with computers, and capable of multitasking.Responsibilities Run specific reports daily.Oversee the flow of retail goods in the park.Perform data entry for purchase orders, transfers, and damages.Move products between store locations.Manage ticketing of items.Update tickets for price changes.Ensure all items are available for sale in the retail stores and can be sold on a register.Perform other duties as assigned to support the park.Qualifications At least 18 years of age to comply with Connecticut child labor laws.Proficient with computers; Excel comprehension preferred with ten‑key ability.Maintain daily orders, transfers, receivers, and store inventory in the inventory system.Strong organizational skills.Strong guest‑service skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Working Conditions Requires standing for long periods and walking long distances within the park.Exposure to variable outside and inside temperatures, including high heat and cold temperatures.Must be able to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing up to 25 pounds.Occasional bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulder height.Reports to: Retail Manager.Benefits Flexible schedule.Ability to cross‑train and learn unique skills across various departments.Free admission to Lake Compounce and all Palace Entertainment parks on days off.Invitations to exclusive company‑sponsored employee events throughout the season.As an equal‑opportunity employer, we strive to provide environments where every host, guest, and partner feel welcome, valued, and loved.
