Land Surveyor-Project Manager
Woodridge, Illinois, United States
General Responsibilities
- Participate in business development activities to build and maintain relationships with both existing and new clients.
- Prepare a wide range of land surveys, including ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, Condominium, Route, and Residential surveys.
- Manage survey projects from initial setup through completion, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare project bids and proposals, including scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
- Oversee client communications and maintain strong working relationships throughout each project.
- Monitor project budgets and collections, ensuring financial performance and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Professional Land Surveyors to support drafting, design, and project preparation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of land surveying experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with experience in construction calculations, boundary, and topographic surveys preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
- Experience working on tollway, highway, or roadway projects preferred.
