Position SummaryLead Handler will be responsible for overseeing Handlers to ensure cargo screenings comply with TSA rules and regulations.Pay Transparency / CompensationPay rate is $33-35 per hourMoyock rate is $15 per hourResponsibilitiesProvide supervision and training to Handlers and canines at assigned locationsConduct and oversee authorized representative duties related to X‑Ray, physical search, and trace detection as neededPerform canine training, audits and administrative deliverables as required for assigned Canine TeamsManage, supervise and coordinate post assignments and schedules for canine Handlers, including vacation relief to ensure required coverageParticipate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify threatsPerform Handler duties while commanding a trained working dogMaintain training recordsMaintain care and maintenance of assigned canine; the canine must be permitted to live inside the employee's residence, which must be indoor, climate‑controlled and adequate; the canine living area is subject to recurring inspectionsMaintain all job‑related certifications and required security clearancesOperate company vehicle during on‑site trainingWork conditions vary from a busy training environment to field work; may involve frequent interruptions, outdoor work in inclement weather, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, and vibration; nights, weekends, holidays, and travel may be requiredOther duties as assignedQualificationsU.S. Citizenship requiredTwo years of documented experience handling an explosive detection dog in an operational environment preferredPrior supervisory experience preferredPrior Military or Law Enforcement experience preferredMust be able to obtain a Known Traveler Number (KTN), STA, and SIDA within four to six weeks of employment and pass all applicable background checksMust have adequate transportation with operational climate control to transport assigned Canine and CrateMust be able to pass applicable contract testing and certifications within four to six weeks of employment; maintain certification requirementsMust have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record for the last three yearsEffective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completionProblem‑solving skills with an analytical thought processAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing environmentMust be able to lift and carry items up to 100 lbs; require standing for long periods, intermittent sitting, walking, running, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and constant use of hands and fingers for handling objects, tools, or controlsBenefitsConstellis offers a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects its commitment to a diverse and supportive workplace.#J-18808-Ljbffr
