A reputable client in Augusta, Georgia, with an opportunity for a Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

OpportunityDetails:

• Inpatient setting
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday, or 12-hour shifts 7 on/7 off
• Daily Volume: 10-15 patients
• Support Staff: 3 full-time MDs and 2 APPS
• EMR: Epic
• 1 year of inpatient experience preferred
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited PA or NP program
• One year of work experience as Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
