By choice we are committed to a diverse workforce – EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Specialist is a highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven role that oversees and optimizes daily warehouse activities. The role focuses on maximizing warehouse storage and equipment utilization, enforcing supplier compliance, managing third‑party logistics and carrier invoicing, and implementing BPS.Key Tracking MetricsSupplier optimization and compliance with powered industrial equipmentAccuracy and maintenance of material master data and third‑party invoicingMaintaining 75%–85% warehouse utilizationBPS implementation and work instruction maintenancePrimary Duties And AccountabilitiesWarehouse Utilization: 40% of TimeAnalyze and optimize physical warehouse layout, rack configurations, and pallet storage locations.Calculate and monitor pallet handling capacity and adjust warehouse zoning for fluctuating inventory volumes by material type.Track and design optimal material movement flows to reduce picker travel time and process bottlenecks.Supplier Compliance: 25% of TimeMonitor and coordinate equipment utilization (e.g., forklifts, fleet rentals) to align with daily capacity needs.Work closely with the transportation coordinator to monitor, document, and address receiving discrepancies, packaging integrity issues, damaged cargo, or late arrivals.Partner with procurement to execute chargebacks, vendor RMAs, and supplier scorecard evaluations.System Maintenance: 15% of TimeConduct detailed three‑way matching of Purchase Orders (POs), Bills of Lading (BOLs), and invoices.Investigate invoice discrepancies and determine root cause.Maintain material master data updates to ensure system accuracy and compliance.BPS Implementor: 10% of TimeReview and update work instructions quarterly.Perform 5S audits to ensure compliance with Bosch Production System standards.Other: 10% of TimeAssist operations when short staffed and during high‑volume periods.Perform additional duties as defined to maintain operations.QualificationsExperience with SAP‑ERP systems: Intermediate proficiency.Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms, PowerPoint): Intermediate proficiency.Communication skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple levels of leadership – Intermediate proficiency.EnvironmentFast‑Paced & Process‑Driven: Operate in a highly synchronized manufacturing and warehousing ecosystem utilizing Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to eliminate waste and optimize space.Technology-Forward: Operations are driven by SAP, leveraging modern logistics tools and automated dashboards to keep material flows highly visible.Safety‑First Culture: Maintain a world‑class safety culture through proactive risk management, robust safety protocols, and a clean, visually organized workspace.BenefitsCross‑Functional Exposure: Work directly with operations, production, and external logistics providers, rapidly building a diverse professional network.Direct Operational Impact: Actively fund and implement associate‑led ideas; optimize warehouse space or improve a process and have the resources to build it.Continuous Skill Development: Gain access to specialized training in advanced WMS/SAP architectures, Lean Logistics methodologies, and safety leadership.#J-18808-Ljbffr
