Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care

13-Week Contract | Western Kansas – North of Dodge City | Up to $2,000/Week

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility located north of Dodge City, Kansas.

This is a great opportunity for an RN looking for a consistent 13-week travel assignment, flexible shift options, and the chance to work with a close-knit healthcare team in a welcoming rural community.

Position Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

• Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing

• Location: North of Dodge City, Kansas

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

• Hours: 36 hours scheduled per week

• Shifts Available: Days and Nights

• Pay:Up to $2,000 per week

• Provide compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents

• Complete assessments and monitor changes in resident condition

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Coordinate care with physicians, CNAs, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Respond appropriately to changes in condition and emergency situations

• Educate residents and families regarding care plans and ongoing health needs

• Follow facility policies, infection-control standards, and state/federal regulations

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license

• BLS certification

• Previous LTC, skilled nursing, or similar nursing experience preferred

• Strong assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare environment

• Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working with geriatric populations
