JOB SUMMARY: |
The incumbent should be suitably qualified with the requisite skill, demonstrated proficiency and job knowledge in the field of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation technology so as to adequately support the maintenance department in our quest towards sustaining the operational integrity of the plant. Candidates should also be willing to:
Supervise the overall routine activities of the maintenance department on all shifts.
Assist in various responsibilities for safe operation, design, construction, and maintenance of all physical plant systems and facilities.
Assist in the coordination between manufacturing department managers and maintenance technicians, under direction of the Facility Engineering Manager on matters of plant operation involving equipment or process upgrades, replacements, transfers, and maintenance.
Interface with manufacturing leaders, other support groups, production planners, and customers.
Lead maintenance personnel in a team effort to meet department and plant objectives.
Promote, lead, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; minimum of five (5) years experience in plant maintenance; and minimum of two (2) years experience in project planning and project execution.
EXPERIENCE:
Possess strong background in the field of Repair & Maintenance, project management, and general manufacturing principles.
Must possess good communication skills.
Must work well with both technically oriented and non-technically oriented people.
Must possess an understanding of mechanical and electrical service of industrial equipment.
Basic drafting (preferably CAD) and blueprint reading skills required.
Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance practices preferred.
